A new public vinyl library has launched in Brooklyn

The collection spans around 400 albums from a range of genres and is based in Brooklyn’s Public Library

Brooklyn’s Public Library has introduced a new collection of vinyl for all library members.

Based at its Grand Army Plaza Central Library besides Prospect Park, the vinyl library includes around 400 albums from genres spanning country, pop, hip hop, classical, and more.

Albums can be listened to in the library as well as checked out for up to three weeks.

With the collection ever-growing, names already featured include Talking Heads, ABBA, Lady Gaga, Notorious B.I.G., Prince and Park Hye Jin.

Along with this new collection, the library is also offering programmes on audio production, music coding and DJing.

The library will also host 'August Lunch Beats' in the Central Lobby where DJs will play on August 18 and 25. DJ Face Control will spin at 7:PM on August 30.
