Brokenchord announces debut album 'Endless Transmission'
An exciting debut from the Lithuanian young gun
Lithuanian artist Brokenchord is set to release his debut album ‘Endless Transmission’ this September. The LP is coming out on Black Acre, the Bristol label responsible for Romare.
Brokenchord - real name Ernestas Kaušylas - was born in Utena, a small industrial town in Lithuania. He has previously released a seven inch single and an EP via Black Acre, and Mary Anne Hobbs hosted one of his mixes on Radio One’s Experimental Show.
He produces dubby, echo-laden music that is at once orchestral and highly simplistic. Lead single ‘Ochra’ features rising synths, warm pads and a driving, militaristic rhythm. The album features nine tracks of cinematic experimentation.
‘Endless Transmission’ comes out on September 29. Preorder the album via Brokenchord’s Bandcamp.
