Boy George is the new surprise face of Dior Homme

Dior Homme has just unveiled images for its spring summer 2017 campaign with a new and iconic face: Boy George.
The 80s pop star, a famously androgynous figure highly celebrated in the dance music world, is a refreshing and progressive choice for the French fashion house.
Remarkably avant-garde and revered for crossing boundaries, Boy George's involvement in the series is a robust statement on society's growing affinity for the celebration of individuality and acceptance.
Creative Director Kris Van Assche, who has always prompted a diverse and exciting catalogue each season, speaks on his decision to enlist the LGBT dignitary: "I really tried to translate what I think Dior Homme is right now. It's about music, it's about cinema...Boy George, when I was a kid, was one of the first to have this message about difference being okay. The idea of freedom and being a rebel - which he still is - is something that has stayed with me".
The campaign, shot by photographer Willy Vanderperre, also features A$AP Rocky, Rami Malek and Ernest Klimko.
