Boston Bun's Circa '99 label returns with techno-pop cut from Jersey
It's a futuristic track, packed with vibrant soundscapes and nostalgic tinges
Boston Bun's Circa '99 imprint has returned and is kicking off a slew of upcoming releases by announcing a techno-pop cut from Normandy production duo Jersey, set for release on March 24.
The single is the first on the label's after a short hiatus, having launched in 2017 with moments of note being the success of release 'Missing You' and 10-track compilation 'Circa '99 Volume 1', shared in 2020.
'Listen Again' is a hyped-up, techno-pop outfit. Rave-ready stabs and slick drum hits bring a nostalgic feel to Jersey's 00s upbringing, woven between a futuristic pitched-up artificial intelligence voice to sew wistful moments into forward-thinking ones.

Circa '99's release schedule is packed from the outset of its rebirth and throughout the forthcoming times; new talents and "surprise guests" will be sharing releases via the imprint, including Makinn, Gaston Blurry and Jean Tonique.
”I’m really excited to announce that Circa ‘99 is back. After a short hiatus, we are finally ready to show you what we’ve been working on," shares Boston Bun.
Circa '99 and its associated parties within the French Touch sphere have become renowned with Bun since his key role in Parisian label Ed Banger. That, it seems, isn't stopping: "New art direction, new artists, new parties," he continues. "Starting with an absolute weapon from the French duo Jersey on March 24. Expect new releases every month and we will announce some very special parties really soon."
