Bjarki - 9/10

Whatever it is that Icelandic people eat or drink, there’s something special over there that produces some immense musical talent.

We may never know the secret of Bjarki’s diet, but what we can say is that he’s putting out some seriously good techno.

‘Naked Naked’, released on Nina Kraviz’s label, is a banger with cosmic sensibilities. The pace is frenetic, the beats are rambunctious and the sombre pads envelope you. Thumbs up.
