BIME announces details of 2023 international music conference in Bogotá

The five-day program includes workshops, presentations, masterclasses, concerts and cultural activities

BIME has announced it is returning to Bogotá in 2023 for another international music conference, following its debut Colombian edition in 2022.

The five-day program of workshops, presentations, masterclasses, concerts and cultural activities is set to take place across May 3 to 7, hosted within the capital’s San Felipe creative district.

Topics the event is set to explore include sustainability in the music industry, the impact and possibilities offered by AI and web 3.0, and the role of managers and labels in the contemporary scene.

More than 130 professionals are set to participate, ranging across GRAMMY-winning independent label founders, major label representatives, journalists, venue directors, booking agents, festival promoters, employees of royalty collection agencies, and more.

There will also be the BIME LIVE music programming, including gigs and a Vinyl Market, with further details set to be revealed.

BIME has been running for 11 years, aiming to connect the various strands of the international music industry and bring together artists and professionals from more than 40 countries.

It has also hosted regular events in Bilbao, with a 2023 edition in the Spanish city scheduled to run across October 25 to 28.
