Beyoncé has cancelled her Coachella 2017 headline slot
She has promised to return as a headliner for next year, though
Beyoncé, who was originally announced as one of the three main headliners for Coachella 2017, has officially cancelled her appearance with promise for her return for the 2018 edition.
The cancellation comes a few weeks after her public announcement that she was pregnant with twins and a stunning performance at the Grammy Awards. Immediately after news about her pregnancy broke, fans brought her Coachella performance into question, which would see her performing on stage about eight or nine months into her pregnancy.
As per doctor's orders, she's been told to "keep a less rigorous schedule" and will return to Coachella as a 2018 headliner. It's unclear who will replace her coveted headlining spot at the moment alongside Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar. Beyoncé's performance would've been her first (official) at Coachella and she was set to be the first female headliner since Bjork in 2007.
