Aphex Twin starts ominous countdown to July 6 on Warp Records website

A mysterious countdown timer has appeared on Warp Records' Aphex Twin site leading to July 6.
The teaser follows Richard D. James' mind-blowing performance at Field Day and a surprise 12" release last weekend.
In classic Aphex fashion, the new addition to his website is completely vague and builds heavy anticipation with its sheer simplicity.
Since James' most recent big release, the 'Cheetah' EP, the elusive icon has been emerging more often with a handful of festival appearances and one-off track drops.
There is no indicator on exactly what the new countdown will reveal, but eager fans are expecting something big.
