Amy Becker to debut live A/V show at The Pickle Factory

The new Acrylic A/V event was announced alongside a UK and Ireland tour

Amy Becker will present a brand new audio-visual event at East London venue The Pickle Factory next month.

Titled Acrylic A/V: Synthetic Sensations, the show will merge Becker’s signature motifs from club, dancehall, rap, jungle and more with the conventions of a traditional, immersive A/V event.

Developed by Becker alongside a team of video, graphic and visual designers including Sifa and Finbar Marcel, the visuals for the show have been designed to form part of Becker’s Acrylic world, with footage from a recent trip to Tokyo as well as 3D animations utilised for the event.

Discussing the show via a press release Becker explained, “For the past few years, I've been building the Acrylic brand as an event series and radio show with a long-term goal to evolve it into something much bigger.”

Adding, “I’ve been inspired by the way audiences experience A/V shows and the use of technology to create these experiences, and I wanted to put my stamp on this concept based on what Acrylic represents - going beyond just a DJ set and stepping into the A/V territory seemed like a natural progression”.

The A/V show was announced alongside a six-date Acrylic UK and Ireland tour. Hitting up venues in Bristol, Manchester, Dublin, London and more, the likes of Kode9, LSDXOXO, Conducta, Jossy Mitsu and more have been confirmed.

Amy Becker Presents Acrylic A/V : Synthetic Sensations takes place March 20. Grab tickets here and find out more about the Acrylic UK and Ireland tour here.
