Romanian AKIM# has cultivated his rich soundscape within the Bucharest electronic scene, incorporating elements of ambient techno into his melodramatic house cuts.

‘Hard To Explain’ sounds like Scuba with a hangover with broken rhythms, lush strings and bold bass.

‘How Far Can You Go’? is impressive even if it’s not built for the dancefloor, while ‘Phosphene’ comes on like Bicep jamming with Roska. Both ‘Runin’ and ‘Tiny Reminders’ are solid tracks that are only available on the digital release.
