A.G. Cook, Shygirl and Kylie Jenner added to cast for upcoming Charli xcx film, The Moment

The A24-produced movie is based on an "original idea" from the 'BRAT' star

The latest additions to the cast of The Moment, the A24-produced mockumentary based on an "original idea" from Charli xcx, have been revealed.

Set for release in 2026, the film will follow a "rising popstar" as she "navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut."

In an announcement shared via Instagram yesterday (October 9), the 'BRAT' star revealed a list of cast members who will be involved in the flick, including Shygirl, Kylie Jenner, Rachel Sennott and A.G. Cook. 

A.G. Cook will also reportedly produce the soundtrack for the film, which is being co-produced by Charli xcx herself via her newly established production company, Studio365.

The new additions join already announced cast members Alexander Skarsgård, Jamie Demetriou, Trew Mullen and Rosanna Arquette, who will reportedly take the role of a "label boss". Skarsgård will play a "fashionable European creative" and Blink Twice star Trew Mullen will take the role of Charli's personal assistant.

First announced in January, The Moment will be directed by Scottish fashion photographer Aidan Zamiri, who will also act as the film's co-writer alongside Bertie Brandes.

According to Variety, The Moment began principle photography on location in London earlier this year. Charli teased the "first scene" from the film during her performance at Coachella Festival in April, and installed a billboard featuring an apparent still from The Moment.
