Cast confirmed for Charli xcx's A24 "mockumentary" The Moment

The cast for Charli xcx's upcoming film The Moment has been announced, with Alexander Skarsgård, Jamie Demetriou and Rosanna Arquette all confirmed to appear in the A24 "mockumentary".
According to Deadline, The Moment will follow "a pop star in the lead-up to her first headline arena tour. The Moment also gives an inside look at the inner workings of the music industry and explores how subculture is mutated by commercial success.

Filming reportedly started on the project this week in London with a host of new cast members joining the project — including Arquette as a "label boss", Skarsgård as a "fashionable European creative" and Blink Twice star Trew Mullen as Charli's personal assistant.
Also joining the cast is Stath Lets Flats creator and actor Jamie Demetriou, Ms Marvel star Rish Shah, The Franchise's Isaac Cole Powell and US comedian and actress Kate Berlant.

Details for the new film remain largely under wraps, but the project is said to have come from Charli's "original idea"; the 'Brat' star will not only star in the film but will also act as a co-producer, under her new production company Studio365.
The Moment was first announced in January, with Variety reporting that Charli's longtime collaborator A.G Cook would create the soundtrack for the film, with Scottish fashion photographer Aidan Zamiri acting as both the film's director and co-writer alongside Bertie Brandes.
Earlier this year, Charli was pictured on set filming her role in the upcoming folk fantasy 100 Nights of Hero, with a several other acting roles in the works such as horror Faces of Death, Pete Ohs-directed drama Erupcja and Romain Gavras' comedy Sacrifice.
