adidas Originals 'adicolor' returns for SS18

The brand relaunch the playful series for SS18

As we pass through the colder months and gear up for warmer climates, sportswear giant’s adidas are set to revive their iconic adicolor range for SS18.

The range was originally released in 1983 and featured a pair of white sneakers, accompained with a set of colourful felt tip-pens, which were offered with the intention that the owner would customized the shoes with their own designs.

It then made a comeback in 2006, for the Color Series, a collaborative project with some of the worlds most renowned creatives including Peter Saville, Keith Haring, Jeremy Scott and Crooked Tounges, who created unique apparel and footwear centered around a specific colour.

Returning for a third time this year, the SS18 offering sees the brand relaunch a range of unisex archive pieces, that have been given a modern update with innovative fabrications, refined fits and updated logo detailing, in original 1983 hues including Bluebird, Fairway Green, Scarlett Red and Sun Yellow

The range is set to launch globally in-store and via the adidas website from January 18th.
