A spotlight on Amsterdam's progressive club scene and festival culture with BUDX

Showcasing how Amsterdam's ethos allows culture to thrive

In the latest On Rotation podcast, Mixmag’s own Harrison and Valerie discuss how Amsterdam's club scene and music festivals are setting an example for the world to follow.

Following BUDX sessions in Paris, Ho Chi Minh City, Lagos and Tokyo, the next stop on our world tour takes us to Amsterdam. Ahead of the two-day event September 25 - 26, here we explore what makes the city such a unique location that is able to showcase an influential creative output.

To help provide a snapshot into the progressive mindset of Amsterdam's culture, we are joined by Lyke Poortvliet of Green Events and ADE Green who is helping to establish a more environmentally conscious approach to music events.

Our BUDX Amsterdam event takes place from September 25 - 26, with two days of panel discussions, workshops, and DJ sets from local and international acts, including Kerri Chandler, Benji B, Detroit Swindle, Tom Trago, Jarreau Vandal and more. RSVP to attend the events here

This is our fifth stop of the BUDX global tour with Budweiser, where we explore the budding movements for dance music and local culture in diverse areas.
