A Human Traffic sequel is coming

It will be set in Cardiff and Ibiza

It’s a good day for fans of cult 90s films. First a new teaser trailer for Trainspotting 2 was released, and now it has emerged that a sequel to Human Traffic is on the way.

As Loaded point out, a Facebook page for a film titled Human Traffic: The Revolution popped up in March, posting clips and photos from the original 1999 picture and sharing details about the planned second instalment.

The page reveals Human Traffic director Justin Kerrigan is returning to write and direct the sequel, which will be set in Cardiff and Ibiza. Parallax East is the studio behind the film and Sally Hibbin is producing.

Information on returning cast members has not yet been announced, but Danny Dyer has hinted on Twitter that he may return to reprise his role as Moff, writing: “Moff. One of my favourite characters ever. That's all I'm saying on the matter. ;)”

Nice one, bruvva!
