Heidi invites The Black Madonna and Richie Hawtin to play XOYO residency
Tuff City Kids, Mathew Jonson and Maya Jane Coles also feature on the bills
Heidi is taking over XOYO’s residency slot with her The Jackathon party series for a three-month period spanning every Friday in October, November and December, hand-picking a selection of world-class DJs to appear alongside her.
Magda and Prosumer will help kick things on the opening night, before The Black Madonna will make her XOYO debut on October 14 to spin a back-to-back set with Heidi.
Further DJs set to appear across the 11 weeks include Modeselektor, Kerri Chandler, DJ Deeon, Catz N Dogz, DJ Pierre, Mike Dunn, Luke Vibert, Kim Ann Foxman, Tuff City Kids, Honey Dijon, Denis Sulta, Derrick Carter and Mike Servito, while Mathew Jonson will perform the sole live set of the series on December 9.
To close out the residency in style, and to mark Heidi’s birthday, on December 16 there will be two sessions. Richie Hawtin will play the rave matinee which runs from 3pm to 10:30pm, before part two kicks off at 11pm with Maya Jane Coles and Miss Kittin joining to helm the booth.
Speaking about the residency, Heidi said: "I'm beyond excited to bring my Jackathon parties to London for 11 whole weeks. Where I've been able to have the freedom to book DJs that have all moved me in some way before i started out in this biz and beyond. Every one of them has a different vibe from the next which gives it the diversity that I always try to achieve with my parties.
"Being able to do it in the city I live in is an added bonus. So everyone get ready to dance harder then you ever have before. Faces down.....asses up. Let's do this and sweat out our weekly demons."
XOYO will also be printing a one-off publication titled Jack Magazine to commemorate the residency, which features exclusive interviews. Free copies will be available across stores and bars in London from September 6.
