New Manchester club Amber’s announces weekly Sunday event
Afters at Amber’s launches next month, giving a platform to emerging artists
Manchester’s newest nightclub Amber’s has announced the launch of a weekly Sunday event, Afters at Amber’s.
The new event – which has been described as a day-to-night party – will kick off next month on February 9, taking place from 4:PM until 2:AM.
Afters At Amber’s promises to showcase emerging local talent, who will be platformed alongside current Amber’s residents and unannounced special guests.
DJs, selectors and artists are encouraged to send their mixes into Amber’s, who will then select talent to perform each week. Those chosen will get the chance to perform at the venue’s new Sunday party.

“We’ve been absolutely inundated with DJs sending us mixes, asking how to get involved at the club,” says Jeremy Abbott, Director at Amber’s. “With Afters at Amber’s, aspiring DJs now have a tangible way to get in touch and have a chance to play at the venue.”
“We want to make sure that the local music community has a space to showcase their talent and a place to start their careers, so we can’t wait to hear what’s sent in,” he added.
Like the club’s flagship Saturday events, Afters at Amber’s launch party will be ticketed at £5 in advance, with a varying mix of unannounced DJs set to perform.

The venue brought with it a no phone policy, and promise to enlist "the world’s best DJs alongside up-and-coming selectors and world-class residents”. Current residents at the venue include Aletha, Zuri, and club co-founders Abbott and Hutch.
Tickets for the launch of Afters at Amber’s go on sale on Friday, January 31, at 10:AM. Submit your mixes to afters@ambers.club for your chance to play at the venue.
