Amber's, a new 1000-capacity, multi-room music venue, is opening in Manchester
Amber’s will run a no-phone policy on its dancefloor, leave line-ups unannounced on Saturdays and provide tickets priced at £5 a pop
A new nightclub and live music venue called Amber's is opening on Oxford road in Manchester in December.
Featuring an L-acoustics soundsystem and custom lighting design, Amber's will comprise of a larger 650-capacity Room One (550-capacity for live music) and a more intimate 350-capacity Room Two.
The venue will operate a no-phones policy on its dancefloor.

The three-night launch weekend will kick off with an opening party on Thursday December 5, followed by events on Friday and Saturday, all running from 9:PM to 4:AM
Amber's will follow a seasonal events calendar, with Season One set to run across December 2024 to March 2025.
On Saturdays, advance tickets will be priced at £5 a pop and the line-up will always be unannounced, remaining that way until after the event, with a press release promising "the world’s best DJs alongside up-and-coming selectors and world-class residents."
The venue will work with local, national and international promoters to curate a range of events that span club nights and live music shows, with the latter set to begin from February onwards.
An In-House welfare team will be employed to monitor the safety, welfare and wellbeing of attendees.

The team behind Amber's includes: Rinse FM resident DJ Hutch, real names James Hutchins; Nothing Forced, the creative content and design agency helmed by brothers Jeremy and Lawrence Abbott, both former Mixmag staffers, with the latter also previously of Broadwick Live, venue operators whose portfolio includes Printworks, Drumsheds and The Beams; and Sam Tunstall, who established the La Discothequé Orchestra group who performed at London's Drumsheds opening.
“At Amber’s we want the music, sound and vibe to be the reason you come back,” says Hutch. “We aim to bring some of the best artists in the world to our club, to play at an affordable price point, with the focus on brilliant music and sound, every single week.
“We’re totally aware of the climate at the moment when it comes to nightclubs and venues in trouble, so we aim to foster an environment where promoters, artists and attendees can thrive and grow together.”
In July this summer Manchester’s beloved Partisan Collective closed its doors after seven years, citing “rising costs and the demands of running a full-time club” as the reason for its closure.
Meanwhile, community music venue The Carlton Club recently announced its eviction notice and launched a fundraiser to help with the legal costs of fighting it.

“We’ve spent decades in clubs together, being part of dancefloors that have changed our lives. Amber’s is an amalgamation of those formative experiences, the ones that you tell people about for years to come,” adds Jeremy Abbott. “We want to channel that into a new space for Manchester, a city that’s already blessed with amazing venues, nights and clubs.”
