Bridges for Music gear up for first ever Ibiza cycle challenge at IMS
The non-profit organisation is partnering with IMS Ibiza and AlphaTheta for the inaugural charity cycle event
Non-profit organisation Bridges for Music has announced its first-ever charity cycle on the island of Ibiza, raising money for under-resourced communities.
Set to take place next week (April 26) on the Balearic island known for its beaches and clubs, the cycle will traverse a 107km journey over the Ibizan landscape.
This inaugural charity cycle event is being led in partnership with IMS, Ibiza's global thought leadership platform, founded by Ben Turner and DJ Pete Tong and supported by Pioneer DJ equipment's parent company, AlphaTheta.

The cycle event is said to be suitable for all fitness levels and hopes to raise money to fund music education and opportunities for communities primarily based in South Africa.
Each cyclist is to launch a fundraising page to support their journey. Upon completing the 107km charity cycle, participants will be invited to IMS events and the Dalt Vila closing party.
"The collaboration with IMS Ibiza and Alpha Theta for this Charity Cycle is a great example of how the music industry can engage in social impact, combining wellness, music, and philanthropy" said Bridges for Music CEO Valentino Barrioseta.
"We are deeply grateful for the support and excited to see the positive change we can create together", he concluded.

Bridges for Music is a non-profit organisation that leverages the global electronic community to create educational opportunities in disadvantaged communities.
Through fundraising, they built "Bridges Academy", a creative learning space in Cape Town's Langa in partnership with RA, Pioneer DJ, Defected and Nandos and offer courses on DJing, talent development and music production.
Each October, Bridges for Music hosts its ADE cycle event, which this year welcomes the addition of two new routes from London to Amsterdam and Berlin to Amsterdam.
Previous editions of the cycle tour have raised more than £250,000, attracting high-profile electronic riders such as Richie Hawtin, Rebekah and Joris Voorn.
