A 19-year-old has died after attending HARD Summer Music Festival in California
The cause of death is yet to be confirmed
A 19-year-old man was pronounced dead on Sunday after attending HARD Summer Music Festival in California.
The cause of Andrew Cole Click's death is yet to be confirmed, but an autopsy is set to take place soon.
A further 23 festival goers were hospitalised over the weekend, which was put down to high temperatures of over 37 degrees celsius and other medical issues. Two women are still in care.
Festival organisers issued a statement in response to Cole Click's death.
“It is with great sadness that we have learned a festival attendee has passed away following HARD Summer this weekend. We extend our deepest sympathies to the individual’s loved ones, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts.
"The health and safety of those who attend our events is HARD’s utmost priority, and we take every measure to create a safe and enjoyable environment. We have no further information at this time, but we encourage the community to come together, support each other, and always look out for one another in light of this tragedy.”
Over 150,000 people attended HARD across Saturday and Sunday, which was hosted at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana and featured performances from Travis Scott, Diplo, Madam X and Kerri Chandler.
