£1.5 Million Worth Of Weed Plants Found In Former UK Nightclub

Police have seized 1600 marijuana plants worth an estimated £1.5 million from a former nightclub in Warrington in Cheshire, UK. The raid happened this morning Friday, February 13 at the closed Club Wired.

Authorities estimate the cannabis farm is worth £6 million annually, and have arrested four people in connection with the venue. Two of those arrested are underage while the other two men are 48 and 34 years old.

This raid is one of a series of actions taken by police to crack down on 'drug crime'. Rising weed prices will no doubt follow.
