New York’s Paradise Garage was one of dance music's most iconic clubs, playing an integral role in inspiring new waves of eclectic disco and house innovations.

Now, a radio mini-series charting the impact of the visionary venue, offering up a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of the Paradise Garage, has been brought to BBC iPlayer

Legends Of The Dance Floor: A Piece Of Paradise is said to chart "how the combined force of the club and DJ Larry Levan changed the music business and provided the inspiration for many of today’s global nightclub brands. It includes interviews with voices who saw the beginning from the floor up, created change and rode with the wave through the disco daze”, according to The Vinyl Factory.

The five-part series is hosted by music journalist, producer and DJ Eddie Gordon, and is available to stream now on BBC iPlayer. Tune in here and check out the episode guide below.
