Hamburg's The Golden Pudel is re-opening this month
It will open its doors on August 17
Hamburg hotspot the Golden Pudel is opening its doors this month after an 18-month closure.
The esteemed club shut back in February 2016, but on August 17 it will re-open on Thursdays through to Sundays for the remainder of the month. Come September, the venue plans to run seven days a week, according to RA.
The re-launch appears to suggest previous legal disputes between club owner Rocko Schamoni and his business partner Wolf Richter have been resolved. Back in 2014, Schamoni opened court proceedings against his partner over alleged rent discrepancies surrounding their joint ownership of the building.
Last year a fire ravaged the venue, just months before it was due to go to auction. Since then, the club has been awarded $300,000 in government funding to help towards repairs, and has been showered in donations and support from the dance music community.
DJ Storm, Nina, Good News and Smallville have all been lined up in the first wave of re-launch programming. Take a look here for more information.
