Nina Kraviz announces new label GALAXIID
The трип sub-label will focus on the experimental side of things
Nina Kraviz is starting another label called GALAXIID.
It will run as a sub-label to трип, the label she founded in 2014, with a focus on experimental, ambient and psychadelic tracks.
Russia’s Species Of Fish and Icelander Biogen have been pencilled in for the first material on the label, while early Russian psychedelica from the '70s and signature psychedelic music from Japan is also planned for release. Along with music, the label’s output will also include books.
The first GALAXIID event will feature live sets from 808 State and Dopplereffekt, along with DJs Luke Vibert, Aleksi Perala, PTU and трип regular Bjarki at London’s Printworks on March 25.
