The Los Angeles-based and charmingly versatile tastemaker Mija has announced her debut EP ‘How To Measure The Distance Between Lovers’ with the release of a new track ‘Bad For U’ (feat. Kelli Schaefer).

Starting off as a rave promoter in her home state of Arizona at the age of 18, Mija moved her way up the ladder since that now famous impromptu b2b sunrise set at Bonnaroo in 2014 with Skrillex (who happened upon her stage while driving by in a golf cart) put her on the map.

Since then, Mija has been showcasing her dizzyingly eclectic DJ style all of her own around the world, now demonstrating her production prowess with fresh, original tracks in 2017. ‘Bad For You’ takes a step back from Mija’s cheery and hypersonic style - revolving around Schaefer’s beautifully locked lyrics with trapped out percussion, embroiling synth arrangements and eastern atmospherics.

Check out Mija’s exclusive, hard-hitting drum ‘n’ bass mix for Mixmag here.
