Larry Heard says 'Thank You' with a new mix
A collection of old-school gems from the influential producer
Following his recent gigs in Croatia and Australia, house producer Larry Heard shares a 'Thank You Mix' inspired by his journey.
2016 has been a stellar year for Heard, who returned to his Mr Fingers alias for the first time in 11 years with the ‘Outer Acid’ EP on his own Alleviated imprint and saw him release a dreamy remix of DâM-FunK’s ‘Believer’ on !K7. On top of this, he played at Dimensions, The Garden Party, Berghain and more.
Featuring tracks from the likes of Horace Andy, Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock and Glen Campbell, the new mix is not typical of what you would hear in a Larry Heard club set, but it consists of quality tracks that make for a smooth home listening experience.
