Goldie on Berghain: "Fucking hell, it ain't all that"

Goldie's never one to hold back or shy away from sharing his opinion, is he?
Ahead of his next album 'The Journey Man', he recently went on Noisey's series The British Masters and aired his view of infamous, and often meme'd, Berlin club Berghain.
After talking about how special Metalheadz at Blue Note was in the 1990s, he said: "I went to Berghain one Saturday. Fucking hell, it ain't all that. It's alright. I'll probably never get in there again, but to be honest there was some Spanish fella upstairs boring me to death.
"For all of the hoo-ha on the door to get in there, it certainly ain't [London club] Heaven. I was turned away from Heaven five times, but when I got inside Heaven, oh Jesus it was worth it."
A quip like that is definitely worth of a spot in our Best of Goldie list. Expect more in a bare-all memoir from the Metalheadz boss.
