Ultra has announced it will make its Australian debut in Melbourne next year, along with exciting expansion news to China, India and an event series in Ibiza.

The global industry heavyweight will bring a 'Road to Ultra' event to the city in February, before hitting both Melbourne and Sydney with full-blown 'Ultra Australia' dates the following year. It follows the announcement at the brand's flagship Miami event last month that it would be expanding to the country.

Melbourne events agency Lucky Ent. is collaborating with Ultra on its first event and posted to Facebook: "As part of the official team, you can find out the details of this event from us in the coming weeks (official Ultra Australia page)."

The inaugural Ultra China will take place in Shanghai from September 9 through 10. A Road to Ultra event in India will happen in New Delhi on a to-be-announced date in September of this year while a Mumbai version will happen in February of 2018.

Additionally, this summer will see Resistance head to Privilege in Ibiza on Tuesdays from July 15 through September 12.

With these additional global expansions, Ultra will land in 23 countries and across six continents by the end of 2018.
