Summer's gone but we bet you're still scrolling through your Shazam, attempting to recapture the magic of the festival season. We thought we'd give you a helping hand by asking 14 of our favourite DJs for their 2016 summer jam – no Shazam or Identification Of Music group needed.

From seasoned vets such as DJ Bone to newcomers like Chaos In The CBD, it's safe to say you're in good hands. So get comfy and soak up the bliss...

1 Jackmaster

Members Of The House 'Summer Nites' (Kornél Kovács remix) on Numbers: "I think the clue to why I love this is in the title! It samples an old Mad Mike (from Underground Resistance) track from his older label called Happy Tracks. It's a real feel-good piano number with a repeated hook saying “summer”, then it flips into an acid monster. Gerd Janson, Job Jobse and Jasper James have also been hammering it. It's coming out soon on Numbers with Mad Mike’s blessing."

2 Jayda G

Dego & The 2000 Black Family 'Don't Stop (Let It Go)' on Neroli: "I found this track while digging in Chicago earlier this year. I didn’t really get down to playing it until the summer, and it was really the track of my tour. I honestly think it never left my record bag, and almost made it to the decks every show I played - truly just because I enjoy the song wholeheartedly. An amazing disco track that’s a serious rump shaker."

3 Bicep

Sandboards 'Visa' on Feel My Bicep: "We have been opening with this tune a lot over the summer, including our Boiler Room London session back in August. These guys are the first artists we have signed to our label - we discovered them after playing a gig alongside them in Wellington, New Zealand last year. Make sure to also check the killer Shinra remix."

Out digi/vinyl 30th October. Pre order the 12"

4 Jane Fitz

Sleep D 'Bush Snake' on Butter Sessions: "Bush Snake is easily my tune of summer 2016. Trippy, trancey, proggy, groovy - all the things i like to put in my sets. I think I've probably played it in every set this summer, but it really did the business when I had a nice view: looking out to sea at Electric Elephant, sunrise at Rural in Japan, on the terrace at Closer in Kiev, through the smoke-machine haze at Freerotation. Super memories, super record."

5 Palms Trax

Montego Bay 'Everything' (S Tone mix) on Calypso: "Would-be secret weapon if it weren't for the fact it's on Shazam! Released on one of the best house labels of all time. It is incredibly effective when mixed out of some disco. Big tip."

6 Call Super

Fixate 'Molecules' on Exit: "The sets I have enjoyed the most this summer (and in general) are the sets in which I've had the time to really shift between tempos, as well as spending time with some peak time stuff in the middle. Of course it's nice to play for two or three hours, but the gigs that stay with you are the ones that are longer and have a crowd that is willing to go to a range of places with you.

The tracks that I get the most out of as a DJ are the ones that not only have a wonderful spirit, but also allow me to do things that can completely change a set and take the atmosphere in a room to a place that people weren't expecting. This is a record that works at double time, as well as being slowed or sped up to extreme points. Very few records have this versatility and also have this much going on. Its an unassuming record that can provide a pivotal moment in getting you someplace else, but few people might realize which record got them to that different space."

7 Mall Grab

Damiano von Erckert feat Georgia Anne Muldrow 'Hollywood' on .ava: "Where to start with this track; this is just full of sunshine. It can work at any time of the day, and it never ceases to remind me of nostalgic summer goodness. I'm confident this track could make anyone dance, and to me that is one of the best things about summer."

8 Chaos In The CBD

Mark Seven 'The Fatal Flaw in Disco' (U-4-Ria mix) on World Building:

Beans: "I first heard this doing the rounds at Dekmantel. Beautiful Swimmers and Pender Street Steppers played it and it went off! Bradley Zero was also supporting it on his NTS show. I had Louis ask Ari [Beautiful Swimmers] for a copy."

Louis: "We met the Beautiful Swimmers boys while they were in London playing one of the Rhythm Section parties. They are both super lovely lads! Ari [who runs World Building] was kind enough to send over a copy and we’ve been rinsing it at shows since. A perfect track for the warmer months. It's called the U-4-Ria mix for a reason."

9 HAAi

DJ Koze 'Knee On Belly' on Pampa: "Koze has a special gift for creating really interesting changes in his tunes (nods to the Splasher remix of Mano Le Tough's 'Energy Flow'), and this one's no exception. It has such a great build into the first big drop, which was my favourite part of many a set over the summer. There's so many points where you think it's about to happen, but it continues to hesitate - then finally catches you by surprise by tumbling into a heavily gated, pulsing, big brass disco sound. This tune is an absolute weapon, I've played it so many times over summer, and it's never let me down. Well played Koze."

10 DJ Earl

DJ Taye, DJ Earl, DJ Manny 'Get Down' on Teklife: "This track is a classic example of the collaborative efforts of Teklife. I was doing my Chicago album tour date and I had booked my flight to come there four or five days before the actual party. Myself, DJ Manny, Sirr Tmo, and other friends had linked up with each other over at DJ Taye’s studio. This was one of the maybe 10 to 20 tracks that got made while everyone was all together, and this one stuck out. So we decided to share this one."

11 Helena Hauff

Unit Black Flight 'Shortwave Radio Antenna Down' (Antoni Maiovvi remix) on Moustache: "I've been playing this every time since it got released on vinyl this summer. I'm a big Unit Black Flight and Antoni Maiovvi fan anyway, but the combination of the two of them is just excellent. At the moment it's the most requested ID I get, people seem to be loving it as much as I do."

12 Midland

Omar-S feat John FM 'Heard Chew Single' [FXHE]: "This has been one of my go-to tracks this summer. It's not a record I have played in every set, but at the right time, on the right soundsystem, it acts as a perfect palette cleanser that seems to unite everyone. As a last tune it works especially well because I feel like it sets the next DJ up well – not too full on, not too deep. Just perfect."

13 DJ Bone

Fred Everything feat Jinadu 'Searching' (Deetron remix) on Lazy Days: "This song has been in every one of my sets for quite some time now. At first I thought it was extremely close to being on the commercial side of electronic music due to the vocals, but that's not the case at all. Beautiful track all around that always elevates the gig no matter what the venue is. Love this!"

14 Kornél Kovács

Låpsley 'Operator' (DJ Koze's extended disco version) on XL: "I'm not so much into pure retro vibes, but sometimes a very classic sounding tune comes along that doesn't necessarily reinvent music, but instead takes an archetypal concept and executes it so well that concepts no longer matter anymore. 'The Sun Can't Compare' did it 10 years ago, and Koze's remix of Låpsley did it this summer. There were so many good tunes around this summer, but this may be the one that got equal amounts of gig and headphone plays from me."
