You can be in the new Trainspotting film

With the sequel to Trainspotting due to arrive next year, you could be seeing yourself on the big screen.

Get down the fancy dress shop and stock up on some 80s clobber because you've got the option of being an extra for a club scene in T2.

Edinburgh club Cav has made a Facebook group saying director "Danny Boyle and the original cast will be in town for a very special 80s bash", inviting 18 to 30-year-olds down on the afternoon of June 14.

If the promise of Begbie, Renton, Spud and co. being there isn't enough to get tempt you, prizes for the best dressed include a 40” 4K TV, Picturehouse cinema membership, cinema tickets and signed Trainspotting and Irvine Welsh goodies.
