XOYO has revealed Erol Alkan will take the reins of its Friday night residency from July 7, running weekly through to September 29.

The 13-week stint is titled ‘To The Rhythm’, and will see the Phantasy boss joined by a host of leading DJs and live acts.

Pioneering performance artist Peaches and London lynchpin Dan Beaumont join Alkan for the opening night, while the closing party will see him going it alone with an all night long set.

Elsewhere across the series Jimmy Edgar, I-F, Boys Noize, Gerd Janson, François K, Justice and Daniel Avery are among the DJs featuring on the line-ups. Further live sets will come from Ride, Factory Floor and Tin Man.

Speaking about the residency, Erol Alkan said: “I'd like to thank XOYO for handing me the keys to the club for 13 weeks, allowing me to design the venue to how exactly how I would like it, and for helping bring these artists in. There are names you will recognise, some you may not, but the whole point of being given a platform like this is to entertain and influence, in equal measures.'To The Rhythm' is a hymn to club culture, bringing people together, and the joy of synchronicity. Looking forward to seeing you there.”
