Woman dies at Australia's Earthcore
The cause of death is unknown at this stage
A woman has died at Australia's Earthcore festival at the weekend.
The Herald Sun reports it understands the cause of a 43-year-old from the Melbourne suburb of Bayswater's death is unknown at this stage, but organisers have said they were aware of an existing medical condition in a post to Facebook.
"We are aware of an existing medical condition and are waiting for the coroner's inquest," the post reads.
"We offered a counselling service on site to all staff and patrons at the time of the incident. A medical team attended within two minutes of the person being found and was unable to revive her. This is truly heart breaking news and we will be releasing a formal statement once we have all the facts in place."
The long-running rave is held a few hours' north of Melbourne, near Pyalong, and Jackmaster, Scuba and LTJ Bukem were among the headlining artists this year.
