What is the weather forecast for Glastonbury Festival 2025?

With just one day to go until the pearly gates of Worthy Farm’s Glastonbury Festival open for 2025, you’re probably wondering whether to pack a rain mac or plenty of sun cream in preparation – but it looks like you might need both this year.

This year’s Glastonbury Festival is set to commence on Wednesday, June 25, before coming to a close on Sunday, June 29.

Luckily, current forecasts are predicting plenty of sunshine across the festival’s five days, but with a few expected showers during that period.

Glasto weather reporter Gavin Partridge – who runs annual predictions via GavsWeatherVids – says that we can expect lots of sunshine this year. In his latest report, Gavin explains that Glastonbury 2025 "won't be a washout", but will see some bursts of showery weather with "drizzle coming in at times".

According to the Met Office, Worthy Farm will see mostly sun and cloud from Wednesday through Sunday, with some rain at points - hitting highs of 25 degrees. Meanwhile, the BBC predicts sun from Wednesday through Sunday.

Wednesday, June 25:

The festival’s opening day is expected to see highs of 25 degrees and lows of 16 degrees, with some cloud throughout the day and warm temperatures.

Thursday, June 26:

On Thursday, passing showers are predicted in the morning, with cloudy periods and general warm weather – expect highs of 23 degrees and lows of 13 degrees.

Friday, June 27:

Sunny and warm weather is predicted for Friday with just a 12% chance of rain, hitting highs of 26 degrees and lows of 16 degrees.

Saturday, June 28:

Things are looking bright on Saturday, with "very warm" weather throughout the day. Expect highs of 26 degrees and lows of 14.

Sunday, June 29:

The final day of Glastonbury 2025 is predicted to be warm and sunny, hitting highs of 28 degrees and lows of 16.
