Peckham producer Warren Brown's 2010 debut LP as Wbeeza, 'Void', showcased a knack for jazzy house with distinct Detroitisms but its 17 tracks weren't always fully formed.

With 'Expression Of Love', though, Wbeeza addresses that in assuredly cohesive fashion. The spirits invoked on 'Void' – Parrish, Moodymann, J Dilla and Detroit mainstays like Keith Worthy – remain, but they're integrated with subtlety.

'It's A Sign' is built around a muted sax loop and Gil Scott-Heron sample, while the 14-minute long title track is soulful, Rhodes-filled house that bursts into life with handclaps and glorious pads.

Difficult second album syndrome? Not here.
