Eminem has produced a satirical rap battle film called ‘Bodied’

Thanks to semi-autobiographical film 8 Mile, Eminem will always be connected with mom’s spaghetti and battle rapping. But it’s the former that he is once again bringing to the big screen.

Eminem has teamed up with music video director Joseph Kahn to create a satire rap battle film titled Bodied. The film is being shown at the Toronto Film Festival next month.

The rapper is signed on as producer while Kahn, who has made music videos for Madonna, U2, Taylor Swift and Janet Jackson in the past, takes over directing duties.

Written by battle champion Kid Twist, the film features a number of players from the battle rap scene alongside actors Anthony Michael Hall, Charlemagne Tha God and Debra Wilson.

Eminem also recently revealed him and Dr Dre were working on new music together.
