The Lab New York is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs, live from our private Brooklyn location. This Friday we have Sam Walker & Gavin Royce, also known as Walker & Royce.

The Brooklyn-based duo have been producing their emotive, subdued and groove-heavy house music since 2011 with releases on labels such as Moda Black, Pets Recordings, and Crosstown Rebels. Their music has been supported by artists including from Sasha, Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex, Gorgon City, Eats Everything and Loco Dice.

Most recently, the artists' remix of 12 Stories' track "Bright Lights" per Viva Music was acclaimed "the best dance floor record out at the moment" by Eats Everything and their remix of Under_Score's "Indigo" for Food Music was a smashing hit at the close of 2015. Listen to their remix of 'Bright Lights' here.

At present, the guys have been busy in the studio with releases due out in 2016 on W&O Street Tracks and This Ain't Bristol, so stay tuned for these dance floor bombs. 12 Stories "Bright Lights" feat. Digitaria (Walker & Royce Remix) (out now on Viva).

The Lab is powered by Void Acoustics. Watch Waker & Royce in The Lab New York below or via MixmagTV from Friday night.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together. Check out more from the Sound Collective here
