Volunteer for Oxfam and grab yourself free festival tickets
Passes to Bestival, Boomtown, Boardmasters and more are available
Festival season always poses a tricky proposition of which event tickets to spend your money on, with difficult decisions having to be made.
If you’ve already drained your funds on a trip to Croatia or the Netherlands this summer, but are itching for another festival experience, then Oxfam’s stewarding opportunities can sort you out.
The charity offer free tickets to a number of UK festivals in return for stewarding services, typically amounting to three eight-hour shifts over the course of the weekend, while you’re free to enjoy the music as normal for the rest of your time spent there. Meal vouchers and access to a secure campsite with toilets, showers, phone chargers and unlimited tea and coffee will also be provided.
Spaces are available for Bestival, Boomtown, Boardmasters, Leeds and Beautiful Days. Anyone that volunteers for two or more will be awarded priority applications next summer, and be in with an almost certain shot of a role at Glastonbury.
Oxfam raises £1million each summer through this initiative, which is then spent on worthy causes helping impoverished people across the world.
Head to Oxfam's website to apply for a festival stewarding role now.
