The Lab LA is our weekly post-work party where we stream the finest American and international DJs from the heart of Hollywood. This week we're going deep with Detroit house and techno collective Visionquest.
After last year's hypnotic techno set in Lab: London, Mixmag coverstars Visionquest are coming to Los Angeles to bring us some of those expansive, soulful, tech-house sounds that've become their trademark.
Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss and Shaun Reeves' Visionquest Records broke onto the scene in 2011 with a string of big releases from artists such as Benoit & Sergio, Guy Gerber and Laura Jones. Fellow founding member Seth Troxler has since left the collective to pursue other projects, though the group has continued to add to their growing list of achievements, including a lauded Fabric Mix, a 13-date tour called 'Visionquest 13', and the launch of 'Visionquest Special Editions', a limited release vinyl-only label.
Known for their epic back-to-back sets and good-time ethos, we're really excited to have the boys back with us again – watch the stream below.
