For his next trick, Canadian tech titan Jonny White takes a break from touring as Art Department, puts his A&R hat on and compiles 16 club-ready cuts from Barcelona-based producers. It's the third in his 'I Live In' series, and the sheer talent on display suggests the Spanish city could well become tech-house's version of techno capital, Berlin.

As well as a deep, smoky roller from White himself, Davide Squillace cooks up some spine-tingling tech, Funk D'Void offers patient and pensive house and rising No 19 star Jade brings whispered vocals and ghostly atmospheres. Barcelona may be known for its sunshine, but this comp suggests the city brings out a freaky, late-night sound in those who call it home.
