Faithless (DJ set), Roni Size and Nia Archives to play Arcadia’s field at Valley Fest
The incendiary performance-art collective will “dial up the spectacle” at the family-friendly festival
Valley Fest’s 2022 edition is set to take place at Chew Valley Lake, near Bristol, across August 4 to 7 this summer.
The music and food festival will host a range of first-rate music and family-friendly activities. Tickets are on sale now.
Headliners include a DJ set from dance icons Faithless, a rave-fuelled triple threat from Roni Size playing b2b Nia Archives with Dynamite MC hosting, and The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club spinning uplifting sounds.
Festival favourites Arcadia, known for their striking 50 foot flame-throwing spider, are hosting the second field. The performance-art collective will be bringing their Afterburner stage, which has dazzled ravers from Glastonbury to Burning Man, to the event for an incendiary party experience.

Arcadia co-founder Pip Rush says: “After touring four continents, it feels fantastic to be bringing the party home again. Many of us have moved into the Chew Valley and have our kids in school. During lockdown, it became clear we should be growing deeper roots at home, both from a social and an environmental perspective.
“We’ve loved working in recycled materials and to sculpt a whole festival environment from the ground up, to plant trees and play the long game is next level. This is an installation that we hope will be built by thousands of people and evolved over many generations.”
Artists such as Redlight and Eva Lazarus will join the aforementioned headliners in playing the stage, which showcases weighty sounds, impressive visuals and Arcadia’s Lords of Lightning performers (pictured above) to electrify the experience.
Kids will also have the opportunity to craft their own versions of the impressive stage with tools and assistance from the Woodland Tribe.

On top of that, there’s a full programme of wellbeing and creative activities suitable for a range of ages.
Valley Fest founder Luke Hassell, an organic and regenerative farmer, says: “I'm so excited about 2022. The Arcadia Experience is going to dial up the spectacle and deliver the best party of the summer. From pioneers, luminaries and rising stars, it’s the most diverse line-up we've ever seen. I can’t wait for everyone to GET ON MY LAND!”
