For the last few weeks Tyler, the Creator has been teasing a release of new material online. Alongside two brand new tracks, he's also announced an album.

The new album 'Flower Boy' is lined up for official release on July 21, but it leaked over the weekend and some of his lyrics have people believing he has revealed he's homosexual or bisexual.

Uproxx reports that on track 'I Ain't Got Time', he raps “Next line will have ’em like ‘Whoa’ / I been kissing white boys since 2004”.

It's the not the first time he's publicly spoken about his sexuality. In 2015 he tweeted: "I tried to come out the damn closet like four days ago and no one cared."

Tyler has received criticism in the past for lyrics thought to be homophobic. This led him to be banned from the UK and unable to perform in the country.

'Flower Boy' is the rapper's first album since 'Cherry Bomb' which was released in 2015 and featured Kali Uchis, Roy Ayers and Kanye West.

You can pre-order and view the tracklist in it’s entirety on iTunes.
