Two Shell unveil new single and accompanying music video, ‘mum is calling’
The duo also announced a string of shows taking place on April 22
Elusive London-based duo Two Shell are back with another new single and accompanying music video, ‘mum is calling’, adding to their latest EP released earlier last month.
The track was announced via a message from ‘mum’, reading: “Hello darling it’s me!!! how are you getting on? Have a listen to this. It’s the new two shell song and I really love it.”
‘mum is calling’ landed earlier today, and came alongside a typically tongue-in-cheek music video in which the duo can be seen dancing around their London home.

An earlier version of the track was debuted at their Boiler Room showcase at Primavera Sound in 2022, and later appeared again in their Eternal Seed Mix via shell.tech, a website created by the duo hosting all of their tracks and extras for fans to find.
The single will now be placed on their ‘lil spirits’ EP as the closer, released earlier in February featuring five new tracks. An updated version of the EP looks set to go live today, March 30, on Bandcamp.
Alongside the release of their next single and music video, the duo announced a string of shows, all of which will take place in a single evening on April 22.

The shows will each take place in London at undisclosed locations, soon to be announced. Added line-ups for each event are also yet to be revealed.
In an interview with The Face last summer, Two Shell touched on their project, explaining: “we want to make new ways for people to feel excited about the things they like, and to maybe change the perceived value of certain items, like music files.”
