Tupac and Biggie documentaries are set for American TV
Coming this June
Separate Tupac (pictured) and Notorious B.I.G documentaries will be shown on American cable station A&E this June.
Biggie: The Life Of Notorious B.I.G is the first authorized biography of the late rapper while Who Killed Tupac is a six-part series launching on June 29.
The Tupac series investigates the rapper’s death in 1996, focusing on civil rights lawyer Benjamin Crump’s efforts to solve the murder.
Faith Evans, mother Voletta Wallace, Puff Daddy, Jay Z, Nas and members of the Junior M.A.F.I.A all feature in the Notorious B.I.G documentary that uses never before seen archival footage from the ‘Big Poppa’ hitmaker’s life.
A&E's Elaine Frontain said: “The late Christopher Wallace and Tupac Shakur continue to impact the world two decades after their tragic, unsolved murders and there is still a public longing to connect with these figures."
