Tuff City Kids see 'Your Light' on Italo disco-laced Total Giovanni remix
Gerd Janson and Lauer do their thing on the Melbourne outfit's latest
Tuff City Kids (pictured) have given Melbourne five-piece Total Giovanni's latest single a bright Italo disco flavour.
'Your Love' is reimagined for hazy dancefloors under Gerd Janson and Lauer's joint moniker, with the track joined by another funk-laced offering courtesy of Sydney's Sam Weston, who turns in his own 'Low Lights Rub' as part of the package.
The band also collaborated with drummer Graeme Pogson, of Melbourne disco-pop outfit GL and Harvey Sutherland's band Bermuda, on the original.
