Tronik Youth
Electrifying funk twister on Nein Records
Almost 10 years after he announced himself with that livewire remix of The Gossip's 'Standing In The Way Of Control', Tronik Youth is releasing his debut album this summer.
Neil Parnell's got a shed load of frantic productions in his back catalogue, with tracks like 'We Are' on Back Yard Recordings a prime example of his electro credentials back in 2006, and last year's 'Edible Thoughts' providing a taste of his disco leanings nowadays.
The Nein Records boss introduced his forthcoming album with the cosmic ruggedness of 'Splinter Of A Mind's Eye' earlier this year, and it's time for the follow-up, 'The Healer, with remixes from Emperor Machine, Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca, Chris Massey and Max Jones.
Crazed synths, preaching vocals, starlit harmonies and smacking drums all feature in the original, making this one intense, electrifying funk twister from start to finish.
'The Healer' is out on May 18
