Tribal Gathering has revealed it will be returning to the Caribbean for this years festival, with a jam-packed line-up for its twin events this March.

Taking place in Costa Arriba, Panama, the festival will be splitting in two — with its Tribal Immersion as well as its International Dance Festival set to take place back to back.

Kicking things off on March 9 with Tribal Immersion, attendees can "deeply connect with tribal cultures, traditions, and practices" as those involved are allowed to explore and learn more about the heritage of those living in Costa Arriba.

On March 18 there will be a one day-break between both events which is described as "captivating transition" as it allows participants to prepare for the upcoming event while "reflecting on their immersive experiences."

After this, the location of Hippie Beach transforms into its International Dance Festival which includes a dynamic range of international and contemporary dance and music.

Speaking on the new location festival organisers share in its press release: "After an extensive search for the perfect location, we've discovered our paradise in the crystalline waters and creamy sands of the Caribbean's Costa Arriba."

They add: "We are incredibly excited to return to the Caribbean and to have found our forever home at Hippie Beach in Costa Arriba, Panama. The setting is nothing short of paradise, and we are confident that Tribal Gathering 2024 will provide an unforgettable experience for all those who attend."

This new location spans 16 hectares of land including jungle and beach with nearby valleys, hills and and waterfalls.

Tribes Coordinator shares: "At Tribal Gathering, our org's commitment to cultural diversity and environmental stewardship takes centre stage with the active participation of over 20 indigenous tribes and minority ethnic groups from across the globe.

"Our Tribal Village - a dedicated space within the festival - serves as a vibrant melting pot where these converge to share their unique traditions, wisdom, and skills."

They continue: "Workshops span from traditional rituals to sustainable agroforestry, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of ancestral practices. Attendees actively contribute to the educational program, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. It's not merely a gathering; it's a celebration of cultural exchange, environmental consciousness, and the shared responsibility to create a harmonious world."

The festival is working with its new surroundings by "slowly" building structures that "work symbiotically with the land" as well as planting hundreds of fruit trees, 500+ guadua bamboo and much more.

Speaking on the line-up they explain: "One of the main objectives of Tribal Gathering is gender parity. We make sure our staff is balanced as opportunity should be available for all. This is commonly seen from our DJs Lineup to the artists performing and the attending tribes invitees."

Tribal Gathering will take place between March 9 to March 25 with tickets on sale now. Get your ticket here.

The festival is also looking for volunteers from set-up help to workshop facilitators. Find out more on volunteering at this year’s event here.
