Anonymous producer Traumprinz has announced he will no longer move forward with the Prince of Denmark alias, a project that was launched in 2010.

The Giegling affiliated artist, who also releases material as DJ Metatron, revealed the news on Soundcloud with two mysterious mixes. Both mixes are called ‘Untitled’ and were shared on separate Soundcloud accounts, one dubbed “planet uterus” and the other “Prince of Denmark is dead”. Each mix features a single atmospheric track looped for over 20-minutes.

The ‘Untitled’ mix found on Prince of Denmark is dead is accompanied by a statement outlining why the producer is moving on and shutting down the alias. His work as Traumprinz and DJ Metatron are also very popular, with the latter project landing in Mixmag's Top 100 Tracks of 2016 for the track '2 The Sky (Metatron's What If There's No End And No Beginning Mix)'. The end of Prince of Denmark could mean that more material from the other aliases is on the way.

Read the statement and listen to both mixes below.

"The story that I was trying to tell here has been told. It's very last paragraph is about the letting go of something. Beyond that, personally it is both a caring embrace as it is a testament to a ten-year-long chapter at Giegling, that, with all I'm doing, had been coming to an end for me. Times which I feel thankful for, though by waking up from a deep dream, what I can tell now, that over time I must have lost touch with it somehow and finally decided to move on into something unknown. Thank you deeply for what seemed like a wonderful journey to me, we'll meet again."
