TranceParty launches imprint with new compilation from Evian Christ & Seretide

UK-based club night TranceParty has launched its own imprint under the same name, with a debut joint record from Evian Christ and Seretide.

The new label was inaugurated yesterday, October 30, with a 12-track compilation record featuring remixes of club classics, titled ‘English Heritage’.

‘English Heritage’ brings together tracks from TranceParty head honcho Evian Christ alongside club night resident Seretide, available both digitally and on a limited edition run of CDs.

The compilation features reworks of classic tracks including Swedish House Mafia and Tinie Tempah’s ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’, Cascada’s ‘Every Time We Touch’, and Ultrabeat’s ‘Pretty Green Eyes’.

Other maximalist, trance-focused remixes on the album include new renditions of Pitbull’s ‘Hotel Room Service’, The Saturdays’ ‘All Fired Up’, and Avicii’s ‘Silhouettes’.

‘English Heritage’ marks more than 10 years of Evian Christ’s club night TranceParty. In a cover interview with Mixmag in 2023, Evian explained that he was working on a run of live shows across the UK and beyond.

“I’m pretty sure it’s my artistic calling,” he explained. “I feel like I'm at the top of my game when it comes to live shows. That’s why I pour my effort into that.”

He added: “Sitting and making electronic music, I love doing it and I’d be lost without it - but for me, it comes secondary to that.”

TraceParty has appeared in cities including Manchester, Barcelona, New York, and beyond over the years. It currently runs regularly at London’s Corsica Studios.
