Touching Bass announces new 22-track compilation
It’s set for release in July, and is being celebrated with the release of three double singles
South-London based Touching Bass, by Errol and Alex Rita, has announced a 22-track compilation, entitled ‘Soon Come’.
Due to drop on July 1, the compilation will be preceded with three double singles, with the first being released this week.
This first single is split between day and night moods - with keiyaA’s ‘Camille’s Daughter’ providing the day side, and Ben Hauke’s ‘Turn It On’ offering the night mood.

‘Soon Come’ spotlights the talents of Touching Bass’ intercontinental community, providing a wealthy insight into the sound, feeling and values of the imprint.
The news of the release was soft-launched by Touching Bass with an intimate gig featuring keiyaA back in March near their local homebase in South London.
The 22 tracks - all original - will be pressed across double 12” vinyl, split between the aforementioned ‘day’ and ‘night’ feelings. This way, both tunes for home settings and the label’s well-loved club night sounds can be embraced within the release.

Touching Bass’ Errol, Alex Rita and Sammseed curated the compilation’s tracklist over the course of two years, reflecting the community sense of the label, which also takes form as a club night, concert series and mainstay on NTS Radio.
Since launching properly in 2019, Touching Bass has championed innovative works with minimal genre restrictions, also getting involved with various collaborations and competitions with creatives and institutions such as the White Cube gallery, and fashion designers Nicholas Daley and Asura Lovisa.
Their emphasis on creating experiences that feel like home - rich in feeling, intention and community - has created a platform for the modern-day, pushing musical movement and offering a space for sonic exploration.
