TIBASKO announce Lady Godiva tour to close the year

TIBASKO have curated and announced their forthcoming UK tour, The Lady Godiva UK Tour.

Taking place across November and December, the duo will be playing Manchester, Cardiff, Newcastle, Liverpool, Exeter, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London.

All tickets for the tour are on sale for £5, with reasons for this noted as the post-pandemic difficulties experienced in club culture, and the UK's current Cost of Living Crisis.

"We came up with the idea/concept of the tour from the success of our pop up parties at the likes of NT's Loft, Cafe1001 and Pickle Factory. Sign up was sold out for all shows, the clubs were full, the parties were amazing and the punters has a great chance to enjoy a TIBASKO rave at a low cost for a night out.

"We've decided to title it Lady Godiva Tour as it's synonymous with the Cockney rhyming slang for 'a fiver', going back to the premise of £5 ticket prices for all shows. We also love the whole historical backstory around Lady Godiva. According to legend, the story tells how Godiva begged her husband Earl Leofric to stop a heavy tax on the people of Coventry. This comes back to the whole cost of living rhetoric, and the story of hiking ticket prices."
